This year's Saturday
Market / CBA presentation includes the following acts: Terry
Robb, Jon Koonce, Kinzel & Hyde, Linda Hornbuckle, and Ellen
Whyte. The concert will be recorded, and promises to be outstanding!
Thanks to the efforts of the CBA and Liza Asner, the
concert will be free of charge! You will want to get there as early as possible
to get a seat, though. Showtime starts at 11:00 am (to beat the heat!)
and will run `til 4:00 pm.
Thanks to CBA members and other sponsors from last year, we now have an annual event that is free to attend and is in one of our most loved weekend spots, the Portland Saturday Market!
Hope to see many of you at the Roots & Blues Heritage 2001. The CBA will have the Acoustic Roots & Blues Heritage 2000 CD for sale and will also have a booth set up for a membership drive! This will be a good opportunity to purchase your copy of last year's festival CD and participate in the creation of this year's recording. For those of you who still are not CBA members but enjoy the many presentations the CBA puts on all year long (not to mention the monthly meetings!), here's another opportunity to put your money where your mouth is and support the Blues!
