On Sunday, December 9th, The Cascade
Bar & Grill will be the place to be as Raw Records presents
the long anticipated release of "Portland's Best Blues" on
compact disc. This is the second, in a trio of CDs, Raw Records is
releasing, focusing on the Northwest's "Best Blues" music and
artists. The Seattle edition has previously been released with the
Vancouver, B.C. edition to be issued some time next year.
"Portland's Best Blues" features all the top-notch Blues artists from the Rose City including, Jim Mesi, Curtis Salgado, Robbie Laws, Lloyd Jones, Terry Robb, Duffy Bishop, and a host of other Portland greats. (see the ad on the back page).
The party is scheduled from 4 pm until 9 pm. Most of the artists on the CD are expected to be on hand and play. Try to be there; it'll be a fantastic time and it's only a $5 cover, which includes all the music, and ™chilidogs. Come early to get a good seat, have a dog and get ready for a great show and an early evening of fun and Blues!
