Albert Reda
is celebrating the release of his new solo recording "Complicated
Life" (see the CD review in this issue), which showcases his
singing, songwriting, bass and guitar playing talents. This CD mixes
Blues, Country, Folk and a little Ragtime to create a rootsy "Ry
Cooder meets Eric Clapton" recording.
Albert will perform songs from his new recording followed by a special acoustic set which will feature special guests including, but not limited to, Terry Robb and Alan Hager.
For over a decade Albert Reda has shared the stage and recorded with some of the best Blues musicians in Portland. While playing both electric bass and bass fiddle, Albert has proven himself to be not only one of the best bass players in the Northwest, but also a very talented vocalist. The Cascade Blues Association has presented him with over eight "Muddy Awards" for his bass playing and in 1998, inducted him into its "Hall Of Fame".
Come out and help Albert celebrate this milestone and secure your copy of this fine new recording.
