The CBA Elects Its 2002 Officers December, 2001 Board of Directors Election Results for 2002 Thank You, Susan!!!    -    Welcome Aboard, Jackson!!!

    The annual CBA Board Of Directors (BOD) Officer Elections were held at December's General Membership Meeting.  This year, one new officer was elected to the BOD by the CBA membership along with four incumbents.  Longtime CBA BOD member, Jackson Lee, was elected as your new CBA President, while Greg Johnson (Vice President), LeEtta Clark (Membership Secretary) and Del Seitzsinger (Treasurer) were all reinstated.  These Officers took over their positions on January 1st and will serve a one year term.

    At present, there are nine current At-Large BOD members whose term expires in July.  Those members are listed in The Board Box on page 3 the BluesNotes.

    Leaving the CBA BOD was our "Queen For the Year" as we liked to call her, 2001 CBA President, Susan Stewart. Susan has been a long-time, hard-working CBA BOD member and will be sorely missed!  We extend a hearty THANK YOU to her for her unselfish efforts to promote, support, and preserve the Blues year in and year out.

    The CBA needs individuals who are committed to serving the Blues community to step forward and run for office. It is very important for this Association to have interested and qualified persons who will carry on this organization in the future.  If you have the time to volunteer and think you would like to run for a Cascade Blues Association Officer or At-Large position, contact CBA President, Jackson Lee, (503 223-1850) or any current BOD member for information on getting involved.
