CBA Juke Joint Night:

David Jacobs-Strain

CD Release Party at the Snake & Weasel
Friday, June 21st at 9:00 p.m.

Teen-aged acoustic prodigy David Jacobs-Strain makes his way back to Portland for a special evening at the Snake & Weasel to celebrate the release of his new Northern Blues debut CD, "Stuck On The Way Back." Make it a point to attend this extraordinary musician's performance. He is well on his way to achieving greater recognition extending far beyond the Pacific Northwest, with tour dates throughout the summer and fall taking him all over the United States and Canada. Appearances scheduled in the Northwest during this time are few and we may not have the opportunity to catch him in town for quite some time, so grab the chance to witness this rising star while you can.

There are not many places in Portland that can truly capture an evening of intimate, acoustic magic as well as the Snake & Weasel. This combination brewpub/coffeehouse brings the artist up-close for a special one-on-one feeling. It is the perfect setting that'll capture David's exquisite style and conjure images of foregone Country Blues masters through the voice of his instrument.

Grab a red pen and circle your calendars for 9 p.m., Friday, June 21st, to be at the Snake & Weasel (1720 SE 12th) to hear David's new material and to wish him the best of luck. Copies of David's new CD will also be available at the show. You'll certainly want to take one home after hearing this performance! (Read a review of the new David Jacobs-Strain CD here).

See ya there,

Greg Johnson
