The Viscount Ballroom Presents:

The Ladies Sing The Blues

Lily Wilde and Duffy Bishop Perform Together

A salute to women who sing Blues will make its way to the Viscount Ballroom on Thursday, June 20th. The sultry Lily Wilde and charismatic Duffy Bishop will both be performing for the evening. The show entitled, The Ladies Sing the Blues, will feature a collection of Blues songs. Both women have won several CBA Muddy Awards for Best Female Vocalist and both were named by the Washington Blues Society as "Entertainer of the Year."

Known as one of Portland's most respected Swing singers, Lily and her band, The Jumpin' Jubilee Orchestra, have consistently wowed audiences. Although she provides a solid swing sound, during this evening she will get her chance to reclaim her title as a Blues diva. Duffy, who has also earned a reputation, has been said to have redefined the Blues, and her band is one of Portland's most popular acts. No one is more charming than Duffy, even with her powerful and gutsy voice. The two have worked together before and will now have another chance to perform with each other once again.

The Viscount Ballroom, located at 7th & Burnside, is for ages 21 and over. The show begins at 9 pm and admission is $8. CBA members will receive a $2 discount with a current membership card. For more information call 503-233-7855.
