The Cascade Bar & Grill and the CBA Present

John Nemeth and The Jacks

Friday, October 18th, 9:00 p.m.

Cascade Bar & Grill, Vancouver

For much of the past decade, John Nemeth has been a mainstay on the Blues scene in Boise, Idaho. Possessing superb vocal abilities and a rich harmonica tone that easily brings to mind such masters as Sonny Boy Williamson and Little Walter, it is little wonder that he came across as a fan favorite this past July at the Safeway Waterfront Blues Festival. Time constraints at the festival left many people yearning to hear more, so now's your opportunity to catch John's encore performance with a full night at The Cascade Bar & Grill on Friday, October 18th, beginning at 9 p.m.

Boise may not seem like the ideal locale to make a name for oneself as a Blues musician, but leading the band Fat John and the Three Slims brought attention John's way, earning him such gigs as the Waterfront Blues Festival and a recent tour with legendary West Coast guitarist Junior Watson. Celebrating a new band, The Jacks, and a new CD, The Jack Of Harps, John Nemeth is ready to convince everybody outside of Idaho that he's the real thing, too.

So come on out to the Cascade and see why David R. Day of Boise's Zidaho Insider says, "John (Nemeth) is the Barry Bonds of the Blues. Every time he picks up a harp and steps to the mike he hits one out!"

The Cascade Bar & Grill is located at 15000 SE Mill Plain, Vancouver, WA (360-254-0749). This is a CBA co-sponsored event. All card-carrying members will receive a $1 discount at the door.
