A look back at... The Cascade Blues Association 15th Anniversary Party! Sunday, October 27th, 2002 Viscount Ballroom

    Happy Anniversary! And what a party it was! A huge crowd packed the Viscount Ballroom to celebrate 15 years of the Cascade Blues Association. The event was a success in its mission to showcase local talent and bring the Blues community together. The full lineup of entertainment featured a broad representation of some of Portland's finest. Thanks to all the musicians for sharing their talents. Our only regret is that we could not include more of our tremendous Blues artists located here in the Portland area.

    There was also a fine representation of local blues DJs, past CBA luminaries and current CBA supporters. We salute those who helped create and shape the CBA, and those who continue to promote it, support it and keep it thriving.

    Accolades go out to all the many volunteers who helped produce the show by setting up, collecting tickets, working the booth, assisting on stage, tearing down, and doing so many other things in between. Special thanks to those who helped haul equipment up the stairs. Be glad the Viscount plans to add an elevator.
