The Cascade Bar & Grill and the CBA Present Jimmy Lloyd Rea and the Switchmasters with Kenny "Blue" Ray New Year's Eve Cascade Bar & Grill, Vancouver

    If you're trying to decide where to go for New Year's Eve for a healthy dose of hard-hitting Blues, the choice may have gotten a little easier with the announcement of this show at The Cascade Bar & Grill. CBA Hall of Fame member Jimmy Lloyd Rea heads back to town with his band, The Switchmasters. Now, there's definitely no doubt that with Jimmy you're in for an evening of pure excitement, especially if you have a craving for Texas-styled Blues. But to make matters even more eye-catching, throw in the extraordinary talent of guitarist Kenny "Blue" Ray. Kenny has worked with many of the top names in the Blues industry, including Marcia Ball, Stevie Ray Vaughan and Charlie Musselwhite, to name but a few. He has also released a string of excellent solo recordings well worth picking up, the most recent titled Got Blues!

    The combination of Jimmy Lloyd Rea & The Switchmasters with Kenny "Blue" Ray made for one of the most memorable sets at this year's Safeway Waterfront Blues Festival.
