The Willamette Delta Showcase (WDS) is an annual music festival aimed at exposing those artists performing the traditional American art form known as the Blues. Without a showcase type of presentation like the WDS, these artists might not otherwise have the opportunity to present their music to Portland audiences.
This page provides information on how you can be a part of promoting and preserving one of America's most unique and influential art forms by becoming a WDS sponsor. (Click here for a preview of the 2003 Willamette Delta Showcase.)
The Willamette Delta Showcase was created in 1998 as a means to help bring to Portland national artists who, for one reason or another, have bypassed the city on their West Coast tours. Special attention has been given to elder blues performers in an effort to give younger audiences the opportunity to enjoy these living examples of American's musical roots while they are still around to be appreciated. Guidelines were set to determine the type of artists who would perform at this event:
Those artists who may have never played in Portland.
Those artists who have not played in the city for a number of years.
Those artists who are more deserving of recognition for the work that they have accomplished.
Any profits made from the sales of tickets for the Willamette Delta Showcase will be earmarked for the Christopher Mesi Scholarship Fund and the Willamette Delta Showcase itself to ensure the future of the event.

Several sponsorship packages have been designed to best fit your business, no matter what your budget may allow. If you would like to be involved in our efforts to help support, preserve and promote this form of original American music, we may have an option for you.
Please remember contributions to the CBA are tax deductible to the fullest extent allowable by law.
Allows your business all the benefits of BluesNotes Print Inclusion, Stage Mentions and CBA Web Site banners that will link to your company's Internet site. Includes two (2) complimentary passes to the event.
Includes all of the above benefits, plus Stage Banner display (you must supply your own banner) and four (4) complimentary passes to the event.
Includes all of the above benefits, plus ten (10) complimentary passes to the event, business logo or name included on commemorative event T-Shirt (CBA holds the option whether to create such for the event), one year's membership to the CBA as a Supporting Member.
