To those using the Cascade Blues Association (CBA) Message Board, whether as registered users or as guests:
The following is a list of policies regarding the use of this Message Board.
1) While the administrators and moderators of this forum will attempt to remove or edit any generally objectionable material as quickly as possible, it is impossible to review every message. Therefore, please understand that all posts made to these forums express the views and opinions of the authors and not the administrators, moderators or webmaster (except for posts by these people) and hence the CBA will not be held liable.
2) Persons using this Message Board may not post any abusive, obscene, vulgar, slanderous, hateful, threatening, sexually-oriented or any other material that may violate any applicable laws.
3) It is also against Message Board policy to submit posts whose sole purpose is advertising or marketing for commercial gain. PLEASE NOTE: Obvious exceptions are messages promoting events, band gigs, new releases (preferably local) and similar announcements -- these things are part of the reason for this Message Board's existence. But messages that simply promote products, particularly non-blues-related products, will not be tolerated.
4) The Webmaster, in cooperation with the CBA Board of Directors, has the right to remove, edit, move or close any topic or individual message at any time should it be judged necessary. While there may naturally be differences of opinion over what is considered objectionable or in violation of policy, the Webmaster, in cooperation with the CBA Board of Directors, has the final say.
5) Users who violate these policies may find their postings deleted, and/or may be banned from the Message Board. The Webmaster reserves the right to notify your service provider of any policy violations you commit. Messages found to be in violation of applicable laws may result in prosecution.
Thank you for your cooperation with these policies. With your help, we can keep this a vibrant, dynamic, open and RESPECTFUL community. |
